CURRENT NEWS & EVENTS
What comes to mind when you think of “GOD”? Does it make your brain hurt or does it bring comfort? Does it cause you to pause and think about something big or does it remind you how small you are? We begin a new series today entitled “Big God…little me” where we will consider the power and glory and grandeur of the God of the Universe. We will also seek greater insight into how He works and what He is capable of doing in our lives.
Our culture often refers to God in demeaning ways, or by saying things that show a misunderstanding of who He is. He isn’t “the man upstairs” or “the big guy in the sky.” He is the one who holds the world in the palm of His hand and with His sovereignty guides the affairs of the world. Despite how things look, our Big God is in control and is working out His perfect plan.
